The Engineer

Left alone in the top of a prison tower for thousands of years, the Engineer is part man, part machine. His humanity is tormented by the cold, dead workings of his iron structure, and often he forgets that there is more to himself than the parts of which he is comprised. When the Son finds him he is hard at work on a product that will not produce, a sum that will not add up. He tirelessly labors for that which he cannot obtain: joy. To truly find it, he must set aside the progress of his own little kingdom for the progress of a far greater one...
